Position: Early Childhood Teacher & Cert III Trainees

Our Educators are special people who are passionate about creating great learning experiences for children, families, the team and community.  They are keen to grow their own skills and talents to really make a difference.

Your role will entail

As an ECT, your role will entail:

  • Building strong relationships with educators, the children and their families and the local community
  • Applying your pedagogical knowledge and expertise to ensure the individual needs of all children are met
  • Observing, documenting, interpreting and evaluating the children’s progress
  • Keeping informed about the NQF, NQS and the current National Regulations plus current thinking, research and practice while implementing the EYLF
  • Planning and programming an outstanding educational program for our children
  • Meet and exceed the individual needs of each child in all areas of their development

Cert III Traineeship:

As a trainee you will complete a Cert III in Children’s Services whilst you gain hands on practical experience and mentoring from the existing team of educators. This is a great opportunity to gain a qualification whilst working in a most rewarding profession. You will need a great work ethic and demonstrate a passion for working with children and caring to their needs.

Skills and experience for an ECT

  • Recognised Bachelor of Teaching or Education (Early Childhood)
  • Have a high level understanding of EYLF and NQS
  • Skills to lead other educators, motivating them to excel as you deliver care and educational programs
  • Passion for early childhood education
  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis,CPR and Child Protection Certificates
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
